Women in Tech opens a regional chapter in Kostanay

Women in Tech Kazakhstan has opened a regional chapter in Kostanay. The new chapter will bring together women interested in technology, entrepreneurship and professional growth, and become a place for learning, sharing experience and networking.
The new chapter widens access to tech education in the region
Women in Tech Qostanay is led by Irina Sulimenko, president of the Kazakhstan Association of IT Companies (KAITI) and director of KAS Consulting. Together with Women in Tech Kazakhstan, the chapter will develop education initiatives and build an active professional community in the Kostanay region.

The centrepiece of the event was the presentation of Aman Bol. The Women in Tech Kazakhstan project helps women build digital literacy, recognise online threats, protect their personal data and use modern digital services more safely.

A panel session showed how AI is changing business processes
Experts discussed bringing artificial intelligence into business, streamlining workflows and new ways for companies to grow. The discussion was moderated by Laura Salamat, co-founder of Women in Tech Kazakhstan and Team Lead for Education.
