AI is coming closer to the regions
Women in Tech Kazakhstan held a meetup in Karaganda on technology, digital safety and free learning for women.
The Women in Tech Kazakhstan meetup took place at the Terricon Valley IT Hub and brought together women who want to use artificial intelligence at work and in business, master digital tools and stay safer online.
Three programmes give participants a clear starting point
The meetup presented Women in Tech Kazakhstan's free education projects — from a first introduction to AI to applying it in business and protecting personal data.
AI for Her
A course on what artificial intelligence can do at work and in everyday life.
AI for Her Business
A hands-on programme for women entrepreneurs: AI in business, marketing and day-to-day workflows.
Aman Bol
10 lessons on protecting personal data, staying safe online and the basics of cybersecurity.
You can start working with AI without a technical background
Experts walked through practical ways to use digital tools and explained how to take the first steps with AI. Participants asked questions and matched the new tools to their own work and business needs.
A regional format widens access to free learning
Participants were welcomed by representatives of Women in Tech Kazakhstan, the Women in Tech Qaragandy Chapter, Eurasian Bank and Be Woman. The Karaganda meetup continued the community's regional work: learning opportunities should be open to women beyond the country's largest cities.
“It matters to us that women in every city of Kazakhstan have access to up-to-date knowledge and can use technology for their professional and personal growth.”
